Action Game from Shepherd's Worlds
2D arcade-style space blaster. You play an Alliance pilot who must use all his skills to defend wormholes against the ships of a race of alien invaders, known as Species CAN-8932. In order you must find the parts of a powerful weapon that can be used to wipe out the aliens once and for all. As you work through the game's 50+ levels, you'll be able to upgrade your ship and weapons. In all seven different types of ship and nine varieties of high-powered hardware are incorporated. Alongside the single-player game there is also a multi-player mode for games via LAN. The game's graphics are adequate and a selection of sound effects, voice samples and beat-driven tunes accompanies play. The control system is straightforward.
