Gex 2: Enter the Gecko |
Action Game from Eidos Interactive, by Crystal Dynamics
3D platform game and sequel to a popular 2D side-scrolling original. You play the Gex the Gecko who is able to climb walls and walk on ceilings. The gameplay consists of exploration, defeating/avoiding enemies, collecting items and puzzle solving. Each level has a set of objectives and is themed around a well-known movie or TV show. Level design is good with many secret areas to be discovered. You view Gex from a third-person perspective and the control and camera systems are effective. The cartoon-style, 3D graphics are generally good.
