3D update of the classic adventure game, Gauntlet. Set in a magical fantasy universe you choose to take control one of the four distinctive characters in your party. Two further characters can be earned later on. Your mission is to make your way across the land of Ataria, in order to reach and destroy the evil boss, Skorne. Along the way you must collect 13 magic stones. It is also necessary to collect keys, to open new areas, useful spells and other powerups. You interact with NPCs during the game. There is a good multi-player mode, for up to four people, each controlling one of the party.

The gameworld is large. The graphics are generally good, and there are some impressive visual effects. A range of fitting sound effects to accompany play, including voice samples. There is also an atmospheric musical sound track, which has a medieval flavor.
