Action Game from Acclaim Entertainment, by Bizarre Creations
Third-person action adventure game featuring stuffed-toy characters. This is a modified port of a game called simply Fur Fighters, which was released for Dreamcast. Most obvious are the refined graphics and new cutscenes.
The premise is that a group of elite fighters embark on a mission to rescue their offspring who have been kidnapped by the evil General Vigo. Vigo is protected by his bear henchmen. The gameplay involves exploration, shooting, collecting power-ups and some puzzle-solving. Six creatures make up the fur fighters and you'll control each of them through a part of the game. Characters have their own special abilities including swimming, jumping, climbing and digging. You can switch between characters at teleportation points scattered around the levels. The selection of weapons includes a shotgun and machine gun.
The game consists of a series of large, themed levels, rendered in full 3D. There is a deathmatch mode for up to four players alongside the single-player game.
