Action Game from Koei
Fighting game set in Third Century China, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms universe (setting for a series of strategy games). The premise is that a rebellion has begun against the Han Dynasty. The gameplay combines arcade-style fighting with strategy elements. You are placed in larger battles, featuring up to 30 warriors at the same time.
There is a choice of story and free play modes. The game features a good selection of playable characters and a variety of weapons, including swords, staves and bows. The game is played mostly from a third-person perspective, switching to a first-person view when using arrows. Power-ups give temporary weapon and armor boosts. The game's fully 3D graphics are impressive.
