Action/adventure game. The premise is that communications to a remote island research installation have failed. You play a female agent named Regina who is part of the rescue team. You must retrieve the head scientist, Dr. Kirk, from the dinosaur infested island. The game's strong narrative that is largely developed through high-quality cutscenes.
As the game's name suggests, you'll face opposition in the form of hoards of blood-thirsty dinosaurs, including raptors and T-Rexes. Regina has a good range of moves and fire-power at her disposal. Ammo is scattered around the levels. There is an element of path selection - at points you choose which group member to follow when your party splits up.
There is a strong puzzle element incorporated in the game. The game boasts excellent 3D graphics, animation and visual effects. A good range of sound effects, including eerie dino calls, and an atmospheric musical sound track accompany play.
