3D platform game. It is the first game in the series to be released for PlayStation 2 and to be developed by Traveller's Tales. The story involves an attempt by Crash's nemeses Uka Uka and Dr. Neo Cortex to destroy Crash by harnessing the elements in a new and powerful creature named Crunch.
The game offers fast-paced action and well-designed levels. As well as jumping and using his trademark spin attack, Crash is also be able to take control of a variety of vehicles. There is also a second playable character, a female bandicoot named Coco. Useable vehicles include a jeep, a scooter and a glider. New features include the ability to sneak and new power-ups, such as invincibility. The games updated graphics are good.
