Action Game from Konami
3D platform game and follow-up to a series of classic, 2D side-scrolling games.
The aim of the game is to defeat hoards of vampires. There are two characters for you to play, each with their own path through the game including some unique levels and story elements. They are Reihhardt Schneider, familiar from the earlier games and Carrie Fernandez. Reihhardt Schneider has a whip and a sword as his main weapons. Carrie Fernandez has a range of martial art attacks and magical powers at her disposal. Additional weapons and powerups are collected in game.
The game consists of 14 large levels that cover a good range of settings. Impressive bosses patrol each level. Effective cutscenes advance the plot.
The game is played from a third-person perspective the camera system could be better.. The game's 3D graphics and controls are effective. A range of atmospheric sound effects and pieces of music accompany play.
