Action Game from GT Interactive, by Eurocom Entertainment Software
3D platform game. You control two characters named Ruff and Tumble. They must thwart the plans of the evil NiteKap and rescue the 'Winks' creatures, all forty of them, or else the world will be doomed to have nightmares forever.
The game covers six large worlds. The levels are well-designed and good to look at. The game boasts excellent 3D graphics and lavishly detailed backgrounds. Settings include a haunted house and a space station.
The gameplay consists primarily of exploration, overcoming obstacles, opening secret areas and overcoming enemies. Along the way Ruff and Tumble interact with other NPCs (text dialogue appears along the bottom of the screen). A novel feature is that the two main characters have to change costume during the game, for instance Ruff becomes a ninja and a robot in this way.
